Electronic Drum Kit

    I'm looking to pick up an electronic drum kit and was hoping some of you guys and girls may have some suggestions as to what kind I should be looking at. I'm not looking to drop a lot of cash but if I see value in spending more then I'm not opposed to doing so. Thanks!

    Are you wanting to use the brain included with the kit to make the sounds? Are you using it for live performance or recording?

    If you're using it as an input device for recording (and you plan to use other software for the sound), the older Roland kits are probably the way to go.

      I'm just using it for home recording and jamming with some friends. Do these setups usually include recording software? I have a Tone Port that I used for guitars so would I be able to use that for the drums as well? Also, what's the price range for these?
