licensed floyd problems

i just recently bought an MH-400 with a licensed floyd rose and am having slight problems with it. first off, im pretty sure this guitar came stock with .9s which i think might be the problem. i down tuned to drop C (all strings down one step, low E down 2 steps) and after i raised the bridge up to make the action comfortable the tremolo seems to dip backwards giving me almost no range when i want to raise the pitch on the tremolo. is this a problem with the tremolo system or do i just need heavier strings to pull the bridge forward?

You'll need to adjust the springs in the back. Give the claw a little bit of relief.

nahh the licensed floyd isnt shittin out at all. it seems to be a little rickety compared to my friends hellraiser's OFR but other than that it holds a tune surprisingly well. besides i still owe $480 to it, im not ready to drop another $200.
