Couldn't find a buyer for my JH-1, so I modded it.

Couldn't find a buyer for my JH-1, so I modded it.

I can't believe I couldn't sell a prime condition JH sig in today's market. I had it down to $850 and no bites after nearly 10 months. So I ended up getting bit "tipsy" and decided to pull the JH-1 off the market. I don't remember the exact chain of events, but I woke up with a bottle of tequila in one hand, a chisel in the other and a bunch of wood chips next to me on the floor.

Bari-QuadriTone now

Pushead

It doesn't intonate particularly well now.

Guiguitarz

Sadly, the fret spacing is now completly wrong.

Big Daddy B

Can you explain how the 3 way switch works?

I thought maybe you woke up from sleeping on the pile of wood chips, kinda like a gerbil.

Pushead

Bridge, middle 81/60, neck.

Duh.

Tondog

NOW I'll buy it!

Breadfan32

You should throw in the het set and the bone breakers !

Guiguitarz

This is fanatism at its maximum

I bought the Bone Breakers and put them in my KH-202 and they sound fantastic. They are so clean and clear. Definitely worth the purchase.

Guiguitarz

I would have bought it if those modification marks weren't there

Nice job BTW !

Road King

I am going to buy this guitar at a high price and then ask if the serial number is legit.

ESP 348

Lol, nice work.

Pushead

In my defense, I was drunk on cheap tequila. My paint matching skills were a bit below par.

Tondog

For reals though...the intonation on that thing is almost a straight flush!

Don't worry Mr. S4all, I have a few backups to spare.

Catch a going out of business sale at the JH-1 store?
