ES 256 volume knobs

    I just bought a ES-256, and was wondering if my volume knobs are backwards. Currently the one closest to the neck controls the bridge pick up and the one between the front one and the Tone knob controls the neck pick up. 

     

    Is is this correct?

    That's how it comes from the factory, yes. I swap them on my 3 knob Eclipses.

        It does to me, but I guess there are enough people out there that prefer the bridge volume closest to the bridge.
