    EXP-200 Broken Neck Repair

    Hey everyone,

     

    A little while ago I purchased an EXP-200 with a broken neck off Ebay. I thought it would be a cool project to fix it up and get it working again. 

    Me and my guitar tech started working on it and.....

     

     

    IT LIVES! 

     

    -Glued the neck

    -installed a Bone Nut

    -Did some minor fret work

    -Repainted  it

    -Installed some EMG's

     

    Overall it was a really awesome project.   The guitar plays flawlessly   No buzz, no dead notes, no rough spots and the neck is as smooth as hell.

    Ouch.

    Looks great now.  I've often heard that a repaired neck is stronger than it was before.  I hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

      That is correct! With all the wood glue where the break was at it is now the strongest part of the whole guitar. 

      Of course! I'm glad we got it working!

      I will eventually get an MX-250 or an ESP EXP Custom
