    Hi guys im buying a h-1001 and have some questions. Are there any difference in quality with the old h-1000s? The tuners are different i know that but the overall quality is same or worse or better than the h-1000s? If you can help i would be really happy

    if i remember correctly the h-1001's are still made in korea whereas the 401's now are made in indonesia.. so i dont think you will see much of a quality difference. if you can score a older h1000 with the old headstock that would be sweet. the tuners are just going to be personal preference. some came with sperzels, some with mini schallers (stamped ESP on back) and the new ones i believe have the gotoh magnum lock.

        ya just cosmetic.. id personally go with the mh1000 because of way COOLER headstock..

            ^^and thats all that matters, i just had to through the MH out there :) the H-500's are definetely another one to look into.. i owned one and there sick guitars..
