Finished that painting project: LTD-EC 300AT
Well, Finally got around to finishing this one up, was waiting on parts as well as a decent camera, my old one broke.
It's an LTD EC-300AT, Mahogany neck and body, grover tuners, EMG81/81 also ordered the truckster pickup rings. Paint and installs done by myself, this was a friends guitar that was traded to me for a paintjob. The guitar is nothing like it used to be, plays fantastic, the action is slightly higher than my ec-1000, the neck is slightly meatier, and it the sound is on par or better. The paint is Fathom blue off of the 1970 Chevelles. Decided also to leave the ESP or LTD decals off of the guitar. Looks better IMO.

I did paint it once prior with the stripe going all the way, and I didn't much care for it. Felt like it steered your eyes I guess since it is arched, if it were a flat topped guitar it would probably be different. To compensate for not continuing the stripe on the body, I continued it on the headstock.
This mock picture isn't much help visualizing it, but I did weigh heavily to continue it or cut it off.
