I have a question. Is ESP still aloud to make explorer type bodies and flying V bodies that were styles of Gibson as long as there are added frets. Such as 24 instead of 22?

I still can't figure out how Zakk Wylde is getting away with it, with his terrible butcherings... such junk guitars. No wonder they show up on the Stupid Deal Of The Day every other week. Fail...

While there has been no legal proceedings (no "lawsuit" status), ESP has stated that they have no interest in reintroducing those body styles as a production model. Especially in North America. Some of those shapes are available as signature models, with specific design and features which set it apart from styles made by other brands.
