The ESP Guitar Company

Hey guys I plan on buying an ESP Eclipse II Standard SW.... would love your opinion on this guitar... I want this guitar mainly because I play metal more often than before but I've always been of a GnR / Slash kind of guy... wanted Gibson but it's soooo pricy and I ain't getting a studio... so I was wondering... are the EMG's versatile pups? Can I still play blues and jazz on the Eclipse? I don't really care bout the looks... I love it... also what's the finish like on the SW? Is there a satin snow white perhaps? Would appreciate your thoughts... thank you
