new member with a new (old) ESP

    Hi. I'm new here, but have been around on a couple other guitar forums, mostly in the projects/mods sections. anyway, i picked my first ESP since the one i owned in high school, and it's an odd one. Anyone else have a Hybrid II? I found a site with a bunch of scans, and found it in a 1984 ESP Export catalog.

      yep, i like the blue alot. If you looked at the scan, it was availible in a bunch of 'miami vice' colors.
      the only complaint is that the pickups are terrible. weak, and microphonic. They may have to go...
      otherwise, very well-made. the body's mahogany, neck's built to vintage Fender specs.
      I didn't realize how far back the newer Hybrid (LPjr) guitars went. when i was searching for info, i saw a pic of one that had been autographed by Queensryche...
