Whats the best way to store a guitar when not in use?? Is it on the wall, suspended from the neck? In a case? On a stand? Just curious... thanks

I have a 7 space rack........for 4 guitars, lol.

I have 3x 7 space racks for 27 guitars.

All my guitars are out except for a Gibson R0 which stays in the case. 6 are on hangers, the rest live on stands. Cases are good, but I've spent a lot of money on these things and I like to see them. Plus, if they were in cases all the time I wouldn't play as much.

I've got the opposite problem... a 5 space rack for 8 guitars... :D

I just stick 'em in their case, or prop them against a wall.

MV-CTM

propped up against a stack of computer books and leaning against my amp lol

Justinschut

keep most of em in cases/gigbags in my closet, except my acoustic and LTD H301 which is my go to guitar for home jamming

I read somewhere that if you store them in the cases to store them sideways (player position), but mine are usually in the case standing up.

hanging or in a rack.

5 guitar floor rack. I used hangers with anchors all in securely till my Jazz bass took one down and now I have a few dings on my otherwise flawless bass. Had to not even play it for a while out of sheer disappointment, but the slight bump on the neck drives me insane.
I'd never trust one again. Used them for years, but it only takes once...

blistered earth

home made rack
8 spots we sized for those 8 guitars
and the other 3 just lean on the wall
