Eclipse FT factory string gauge

    Does anyone know the factory string gauge that the eclipse full thickness comes with? After changing my strings for the first time on the eclipse FT my tone just dropped enormously. I know they came with S.I.T strings, but after changing them to ernie ball 10s I was not happy. I lost a lot of crunch and fullness in my tone. I even went and bought S.I.T strings (10s) but that didn’t work. I'm now thinking they might have been different gauges. Any help welcome. Thanks!

    AFAIK, guitars with 24.75" scale length come equipped with the 10-46 from the factory. My ESP manual says.

      Thats weird cause if its 10s it doesnt explain the loss of tone after the string change.

        Ask the store where you bought the guitar if they typically change the strings on new guitars and what they'd restring with.
