2 Questions **Eclipse 1 ctm**

1- Who knows what the "CTM" stands for ? 2- And if I get White, will it turn that repulsive piss yellow. Like the Gibsons do ?
Pushead

CTM is short for Custom, which in ESP lingo usually means an ebony board and multi-ply binding.

The ESPs have been known to yellow a bit, but not usually as much as the Gibsons do.

And there's nothing wrong with the yellow Gibsons.

Ozwepaie

THX for the info : it does have 5 ply binding & ebo board.

And don't get me wrong. I love Gibson. I just hate that old nitro color.
Like, if I wanted that color. I'd buy it that way.

I think the CTM's are the full thickness bodies. Not allowed in the US, all over ebay from Japan.

As stated, no, not necessarily full thickness. And NEVER on eBay from Japan, ever. They're not sold in Japan, CTMs like are being discussed.

No, CTM does not stand for full thickness. That would be the FT designation. You can buy normal Eclipse thickness Eclipse I CTM guitars.
