Yup, James has a couple Eclipse models like that. He has them add in a switch in place of one of the 4 knobs, but leaves the original switch on the upper bout. Rather than fill it in, he just has it disconnected. The signature models are faithful to that spec.

Yes. The tone knob would control the speed of the fan.
If I got one I would wire the top switch to toggle the pickups, then put the killswitch in the spot where the toggle was. I think the little button type like Bucketheads would work the best. Just pressing the button seems more efficient than flipping a toggle switch.

its a dummy switch....its not suppose to do anyting..i guess thats the way james wanted it
