I posted this at the bmusic forums and I hate to post the exact same question on two forums, but I'm in a bit of a hurry to be honest. Here's my question: Anyone know if a Standard Series can have a serial starting with just one S, instead of two (SS)? For example, I thought a standard series serial would look like: SS#######. However, I'm looking at a guitar right now that has a serial which only has one S, like: S#######. It's a 2005 (46th week of 05), and it has the standard series stamp on the back of the headstock near the serial. Anyone know if this is a legit guitar? Everything else about the guitar looks perfectly legit, just this serial has me scratching my head a little. Thanks.
