Noisy treble pot on a brand new B205sm

    Took this video immediately after plugging in for the first time, very, very noisy treble pot.  But it could be the preamp unit.  Either way it should never have been allowed out for sale - no quality control check.  Not hood for a premium brand such as ESP or g G or an expensive fretless 5 string bass.
    Bought from Thomann but this is not of merchantable quality not hit to or purpose.  No reply yet from ESP.  Thomann recommended using contact cleaner, did this but made no difference.  Guess that it is the EQ preamp unit  rather than pot.

    will ESP respond and do something, expensive guitar and this doesn’t make them look very good
