Larry Barragan (Helstar) on the ESP E-II FRX

Larry Barragan founded Helstar in 1982. Coming out of Houston, TX, Helstar had an immediate impact on the American power metal scene. In this video, Larry talks about his love of the ESP E-II FRX, a guitar that features a bold and aggressive design with high performance features like its set-thru neck, Floyd Rose Original tremolo, and ESP 89/89R active pickup set.

I originally bought this guitar because of Larry and Helstar - and now that I have it, I can say I love it also! Definitely the best guitar I own. Just wish it was still made in black, but, the "Reindeer Blue" (which for the life of me I cant figure out why they called it that, since it's purple and not blue by any stretch of the imagination) looks pretty kick ass once you get used to it!

Larry has been an influential guitarist from the very first Helstar album. He's continued to grow each year with technique, style and tone. Good addition to the ESP roster!
