Jet Set Gypsies- Tourniquet (Alpha Version)

Jet Set Gypsies "Tourniquet" (Alpha Version) Director- Jeffrey Moore: Axtravaganza Films ...................................................................................... Story: Jet Set Gypsies portray tragic opposition of the human spirit in 'Tourniquet', Face to face, night and day, left and right, Prince V and Richter Feist battle using their powerful voices as weapons against each other. Duets escalate in intensity as Dai's guitar wails this tale. "Well they say that this man can't be moved, He's got a heart like an anvil that your gavel bangs on just to prove, that his chances look grim. Well, they say that this girl can't be killed, She's got a heart like Excalibur with a damn near unshakable will. She did it all for her prince." The wedding was imminent, the young royal lovers are arm in arm, touring the palace they will share together. As Prince V and his princess make their exit, they are too in love to see that others have plans to tear them apart and take away their happiness. A jealous Lord, Richter Feist, wants what can never be his. The beautiful Princess Marionetta stirs his lust and want. Rebuffed, he summons the Angel of Death and makes a darkened pack for her heart. If she will not offer herself to him then he will kill her, taking what he wants. Bound to duty, Dai, the Angel Of Death agrees to give Richter what he requests. The deal is sealed, Death and Lust have formed a pact. Is love strong enough to survive this? Only Heaven knows. An invitation to meet her Prince serves as the ultimate snare for a Princess unaware of the malice that awaits. For the shadows concealed a changeling most fatal, as she offers her hand to her love, Richter instead takes the Princess captive. The Prince can feel his true love’s danger, he feels her fear as she is chased and killed. The Angel of Death watches silently for he serves no one, he is bound to simple duty alone. He hears the prayers of the Prince and knows that destiny is sealed. What will be is as it was always meant to be. Fighting back to reclaim his love, Prince V and Richter battle face to face, tenor against baritone. Lust and Love fight for the heart of the Princess whose fatal wound will not kill her. The Princess bleeds, her heart is gone yet she does not die for she lives only for the love of her Prince. Richter grows in fear and confusion. The Princess still breathes, whispering her beloved’s name only. With her heart in his hand, Richter drops her body and runs. For Lust is fickle and only wants what it can take, he has got what he bargained for yet is still unsated. Bloodied and scarred, the Princess falls in a heap, her heart ripped from her body. Prince V takes her into his arms. For Love is not fickle, true love never dies. The Princess greets her Prince with a tender caress. Her heart is gone but the lovers know that is not where their treasure lies. Love is not made of physical matter and can never be taken away, their love remains, heals and lives on. The Princess shows Prince V the gaping hole where her heart one was. She is imperfect. The Prince smiles and slowly as she lifts the decorative eye patch from his eye to reveal a blinded scar - for love does not die and is stronger than mere flesh, blinded and yet perfect. The Prince takes the Princess up into his arms for love gives him strength and her needs are never a burden. The Angel plays his enchanted guitar for there is a wisdom that only Heaven could know, that in accepting the pact of destruction from Richter, Angel Dai only strengthened the bond between the royal lovers. Her heart in his hand, Richter pays the price of his twisted, selfish ways. Love was not something trifling that could be contained in a physical part. Grieving his loss, ashamed of his deed, he is left with nothing but a lump of flesh and anguish. Richter drops to his knees and wails to God for solace. Invincible survivors, the lovers find Richter. They agree to abandon thoughts of revenge for they realize without him, they could never have become so strong. For love heals and makes new, Prince V transforms the bloodshed into rose petals as proof of forgiveness. As a sign of healing and forgiveness, the stolen heart turns into rose petals in Richter’s hands. Approaching the praying repenting Lord, Prince V and Princess Marionetta console him. For true love is always unconditional. “Two hearts rejoice, beating as one. Who is to say love is to be shunned? "
