- About me:
I'm glad to be here. I think that this community provides the great features for the like-minded musicians.
I live in the small town located on the pacific coast. It's southernmost seaport on the east of Russia. When you look at the map you can see my town right between China and Japanese islands, so here is soft and wet climate
Initially my musical interests were brought up by my parents. My mother graduated from the School of Music in piano and father sometimes plays simple songs on guitar. Exactly he showed me my first three chords when I was about 6-7 years old. The next stage became when I was 10-12; it was the meeting to russian soft rock, and developing of my guitar playing skills with my new friends. Then I understood many of nuances of guitar playing. Then when I was 15 I met the man with whom we established my first band, exactly since that time I take a fancy to metal, and then I bought my first electric guitar. We trained and played for about 3 years and finally we have recorded some tracks at home. In that period I've met some musicians of our town and those meetings helped me to continue playing in another bands after disbanding of our first band.
There are not a lot of metal bands in our town and I know just one that had ever issued studio albums. I played in some of them, but despite the quite high level of musicians in those bands, there was not enough of solidarity in all of them. I think that it all was because each of the musicians in the bands had some his own ambitions. Also all the time we had troubles with rehearsals bases and equipment.
At last, in last year we conspired with the drummer of my first band to equip the part of my garage as a simple rehearsal base, and to invite musicians taking their skills easy, but like-minded and WANTING to play. In last year we played for 6 month and then came the winter and we had not enough time and resources for the heating of our base. Now we resume to our works in garage and I'm going to create blog about that process.
Besides music. I'm programmer by profession, I'm married and have a son. My other interests: swimming in summer, snowboarding in winter, and technologies.
