The 'cheapest' new ESP USA Eclipse can be had for $3,499 (solid color/SD pickups). Pricing varies as you start to personalize with figured tops and pickup choice.
I appreciate the heads up. I am guilty of jumping into a project without proper planning! I've put a pickguard on a KH-202 which I routed out the front for the controls. I did it on a KH-602, and I just redrilled the holes......MORE »
Also, the holes for the pots don't line up. I've done it before on an LTD, and the same problem exists here. I just drill new holes and use long shaft pots. The switch is tall enough, fortunately.......MORE »
Yes, he did. The reason why I wanted to clip mine is that I'm obviously going for an RZK theme, and that headstock is associated with Richard. Also, as I understand, he just modified the KH guitars he used on the Sehnsucht......MORE »

I found it scouring Craigslist. Crazy good deal, it's an early '90s model, 1993 to be exact. Nothing plays better than an early '90s ESP, in my opinion.
I present to you, the first of what I assume will be many, original......MORE »
Guitar pricing is getting insane, along with cars, guns, etc. ESP offers some bolt-on USA models that are priced at the competition. I recently purchased an original series. The fretwork and finish borders on obsessive.......MORE »
I thought about that but EMG tested them and said no they were lemonade already. Like I said, they are serviceable now but if it gets worse, would probably drop in an 81/60 set. If I get another LP, I am thinking......MORE »
I don't know I tried everything, changing the pots, the buss, I even sent them back to EMG for testing. They couldn't replicate the issue so it could be something guitar specific. I didn't have any spare emgs to plug into......MORE »
report back if you find the 57/66 any noisier than other EMGs. the set I have are and had to monkey around with it for a while to make them tolerable. haven't been able to isolate the cause though.
Thanks, guys. I've been playing it a lot and ESP really polished the ebony board to such a smooth feel. I wonder why ESP decided on rosewood for the newer urban camo? Major bummer. Oh, and the black nickel hardware actually......MORE »

They are usually market NY and a date if I remeber off the top of my head if they were assembled in the 48th street shop.

Very Cool RK ! I like the Camo/satin finish, congrats ! Is this a custom paint on a STD Series ?
Yes, custom paint ordered by the dealer. I believe a dealer has to order a batch of like 10 or more to change the finish......MORE »
