Road King replied to the forum post Custom Order Snakebyte

Tondog, just pick up a snakebyte and have a luthier replace the nut and inlay. I know someone. Well, I've seen all kinds of variations of the KH-2. Someone tell James that sharing means caring. ......MORE »

Road King replied to the forum post Custom Order Snakebyte

That's probably a graphite nut, the kind I prefer. ESP will pretty much do anything (see the custom gallery) since they are very skilled. I think the snakebyte would look cool with just the snake inlay and no dots. I'm......MORE »

Road King replied to the forum post Serial Number Prefixes

Thanks Road King. I know at the time I bought it that the neck thru model wasn't a standard run, that you had to custom order it, but I assume it got made in the standard factory and not a custom shop.  Well they......MORE »

Road King replied to the forum post Serial Number Prefixes

They didn't do the prefixes back then. It started in 2003 with the standard series (i.e. SS03). And then they added the signature series in 2005 or 2006. My guess is ESP guitars had to add more shops to keep up with demand.......MORE »

Looks much better with the reversed headstock. Plus you get a properly tight low E and a more bendable high E. I'm not sure why ESP ruins all of their guitars with the non-reversed one. I have GAS for that military......MORE »
