Pushead replied to the forum post M-50 Service shows twisted neck

Yeah, I agree with Big Daddy. It sounds like it isn't a horrible twist. If it was overcome with a setup and whatever else your tech did, I'd keep it as-is until it becomes an issue. There's nothing wrong with budget friendly......MORE »

Pushead replied to the forum post M-50 Service shows twisted neck

That's a shame to hear. The cost of repairing the neck is probably as much as buying a new neck. And buying a new neck (from Warmoth or similar) is nearly as expensive as just buying a new M-50.I'd probably be on the lookout......MORE »

Pushead replied to the forum post M-50 FR vs. MH 50

Both the M-50 and he MH-50 have the same nut size (42mm), so they'll have the same string spacing.  What guitar do you currently use that has a wider spacing? 42mm is a pretty common nut size.......MORE »

Pushead replied to the forum post E-II Eclipse pickup question

Yes. ESP solders the pickup wires to the pots instead of using their solderless connections in the cavity, but the quick connectors on the pickup end are just a simple swap.  A Het Set of 57/66 combo is just a simple swap.......MORE »

Pushead replied to the forum post Fake ec ii?

I used to say that I could be perfectly content with an old 400 series LTD. The EC-1000 is a great guitar, but I notice a difference between an EC-400, and EC-1000 and an ESP Standard or E-II guitar. So to me, it's worth the......MORE »

Pushead replied to the forum post Fake ec ii?

I feel better about this one. The serial number looks a bit wonky, but the format and font is correct, as is the ESP Standard Series logo. The 4 knob Eclipses were still available in the "Export Series" Catalog (Europe,......MORE »
