It's pretty common to see the seams between pieces of the wood.  That happens often on guitars that don't have a very thick finish.  IMO, a slightly thinner finish is a good thing.......MORE »

Kirk plays what he wants because he can.  The sound differences between any of those guitars are going to be very minimal.Even with passive Gibson pickups in an LPC, Kirk's clean sound won't be that drastically......MORE »

It's a mahogany bodied guitar with EMGs; they're all basically going to sound the same.Les Pauls are heavy.  Les Paul Customs are typically heavier.  Mine are all over 11 lbs.......MORE »
