They both control the overall volume.The simple way to change from a master volume to independent volumes is to swap the wires on the volume pots. Each volume pot has 3 lugs, one is bent and soldered to the top of the pot.......MORE »
I went ahead and checked the KH-4 to see if it has Luminlays and it doesn't so assuming it is not a standard custom shop installation practice. I have no idea how the KH-3 ended up with them but they look cool as hell!
Yeah I don't think they had luminay back then but I didn't specifically request it. I wonder if on the original they used a glow in the dark paint on the side markers, kind of like the glow in the dark Ouijas? I will need to......MORE »
Here's what it looks like. Tough to focus and looks more green in person but looks really nice. You can see the higher side markers reflecting off the body, that is why they appear double.
