Great guitar, sounds awesome, I got this guitar a month ago, only one detail: in the front side some lines shows below the paint, a kind of not finished sanded work
This is a natural occurrence with alder and shouldn't be a cause for concern, glad you enjoy it otherwise
Oh well its a Signature Guitar, in my opinion must be finished perfect.
Get this babe in 2020 with new bone breaker set but mine missing one skull head eye on No.19 fret inlay, a small eye sized hole exactly same position at skull head's left eye, other frets pretty normal and with black plastic material..... I don't know is this normal for new model or just bad factory check.... also one dealer on eBay said same situation on purple sparking model which is also same position same eye....
btw its a good guitar for me, hope u guys can improve Korean factory check
Thanks for informing us! If you have a cosmetic issue with your instrument it is best taken up with the dealer you purchased this from, if you have any warranty related issues you may reach out to our service department at customerservice@espguitars.com
Que precio tiene esta guitarra?
is this guitar limited edition?
Hey Tatiana, this is a standard production model.
you guys are sending it now with the bone breakers, right? i bought it in amazon a couple of days ago, and i was wondering if they would send me the old 81/60, or the signature pickups
Hey Felipe, yes the current specification for pickups on this model is the bone breaker set, though it is possible that some dealers out there could have the older models on hand before this set was introduced. Wouldn't be a bad idea to contact the seller to see what it is they are intended to send you.
Hello Carl N.!! thanks for answering my question. Where can I place my order? Is there coverage in Mexico City?
regards!!
Hey Francisco, I'd probably start with the dealers in your area.

Question.. I saw this guitar on Amazon and it had a few things different about it than what's listed here. On Amazon, the guitar has a Rosewood fingerboard and does not have the bone breaker pickups (instead it has the 60/81 EMGs). Is there a way I can get this guitar with the Rosewood fingerboard? The darker wood looks better in my opinion. Or is this only available with the Pau Ferro fingerboard? Thank you!
Hey Dom, these previously were made with rosewood prior to the tightening of CITES regulations on the use of that wood. If the older one is what you are after I would order it from the seller advertising it as such. The current LTD models will have pau ferro fingerboards.
Bought this baby a year ago and no regrets. Especially after the paint job.
Very cool!
Hello, when I place my order, is the guitar I will receive the same as the one shown in the image?
Thank you!
Hey Francisco, yes this is the current KH-602 model that is being produced and shipped.
Hello,
what is the difference between the guitar with KH-602 on fret block and the new one without? price? Quality?
Thank you
Hey Muhammed, they're the same guitar. The one with the inlay block was updated to what you see on our site now.
I received the ESP LTD KH-602 guitar as a birthday present a little over a month ago. Just two days ago, the little piece on the bridge where the whammy bar gets screwed in to the floyd rose fell inside the guitar. I haven’t been able to have a good look at it yet but I’m hoping I don’t have to completely replace it with a new floyd rose bridge. Some assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated!
Turn the guitar around, take off the back plate where the springs are, it should be floating around in there unless it fell out and is now on the floor. Remember, Youtube is your friend when it comes to looking for repair or parts problems, solutions etc for the guitar. Try and be specific but simple whem typing query. Alot of problems are not specific guitar make problems just general wear and tear on all makes is similiar. Especially Floyds can need a quick tightening before use.You can buy replacement Floyd Whammy bars that come with all the inserts, take of back plate, look at the back of the tremolo and undo a screw at the bottom of the whammy insert. Look at the top, undo any screw holding the round srew in place and you can take it off. Reverse to put back on. I bought a Schaller whammy bar and it was much better than the Floyd, as the Floyd was all loosy goosey.
No need to buy a new Trem for a simple fix. Buy the Schaller whammy bar. It is the best.
Hey Rob, happy belated birthday. Be sure to contact our customer service department if you are having any further issues. They can be reached at customerservice@espguitars.com
Got this for my birthday, Pluged it in and fell in love with it.
Hey Cooper, Happy Birthday! Glad you're enjoying it!
I recently purchased this guitar a few months ago. Absolutely amazing piece of craftsmanship. Top notch quality, sound, playability. Really happy with the purchase.
Hi Mark, Thank you for posting your comments. We're grateful to hear this and happy that you chose ESP! Thank you!
I bought this guitar about a year ago, I love the Bone Breakers and the neck on the guitar is not only neck through but really thin, access to the fret 23rd and 24th is easier than in most guitars including Ibanez. If speed and ease to play fast solos is your concern, this thing is meant for that, the KH-602 is a shredding machine. I also like how they shaped the top part of the guitar so it is really easy to play while you're sitting without feeling like it is cutting your right forearm's circulation. ESP customer service has been on point! They're awesome, I got another ESP and I love it too!
It is nice to have the case but I noticed it increased the price a little more, you can get that used but anyway, amazing guitar!
Hey Edward, thanks for posting your review here and we're so glad to hear you like our guitars and our service! Thanks for choosing ESP!
Hello, how would i know if I have the bone breaker pick-ups in my KH-602?
You can recognize the standard Bonebreakers by the green colored ‘EMG’ logo on them. The limited edition version has Kirk’s autograph on them
HI Tim, Dirk is correct. The regular Bone Breakers have a green EMG logo which you can't miss.
Hello,
When will the ouija finish be made available again? Can it be custom ordered?
HI TB, Sorry the Ouija graphic models have only been produced as limited production runs. They have to be licensed and therefore are not something we normally have available except for these special limited production runs.
Hi Tasker, thanks for pointing this out. Our product photo needs to be updated. We have removed the model names from the fingerboard, so we are currently making this model without the "KH-602" on 24th fret block.
Will the 602 ever get a natural satin finish for the back of the neck to match the KH2? I would rather not have to sand the back of the neck.
Hi Charles, The ESP neck thru KH-2 model has a gloss finish on the back. Kirk prefers a natural back of neck with a gloss finish. It's possible we would do this for LTD in the future but it's currently not done on any of the LTD models (except the bolt on KH-202 which has a natural satin finish).
So a little confused here. Was inquiring about the Floyd Rose this 602 has. Is it an original or a 1000. Was looking on zzounds.com and in the overview they say it's a 1000 but in the specs section they say it's an original. They also say it has a rosewood fingerboard. Is it rosewood or pao ferro? I think there's is 2018. Thanks. Steve
Hi steve, the fingerboard was changed to Pau Ferro last year. The bridge we use is the 1000 series which is the same as the Original spec but manufactured in Asia. We do not use the Original FR for LTD instruments at this time. The quality of the 1000 series FR bridge is top notch and has been used for our mid priced products such as LTD 1000 series.
why do these guitars have to be so expensive I love you guys, the mh shape the emgs and the floyd rose is literally my dream guitar but is there any way that I could get one for like 500 or so please respond
Hi Jack, Yes some of our instruments in the 600 & 1000 series are expensive due to the build and the parts used. If you want something with EMG pickups and a Floyd Rose, the best quality version will be something in our 1000 or 600 series, but if the price is too high I would recommend purchasing a used instrument which you can probably get a deal on.
