I've got this guitar second hand, and the serial number starts with U. I know its supposed to inform about the factory it was made in, but i never heard of an ESP factory that starts with a U. Could you please asure me about the originality of my EC-1000?
Hi Turcsi, Yes we have produced our guitars with a "U" serial number prefix in Korea (between the years 2000 - 2010 roughly). Although you may not have seen this before, it should be nothing to worry about. I cannot confirm here 100% authenticity of your guitar, but it is likely one of our original instruments. Is there any plans for this to come out as the black gloss model with abalone binding,
would love this seymour in that style
thats the one i want, ec 1000 black but with these gold seymours in, not EMGs
Hi Ian, There is no current plan for this model but thanks for letting us know what you're looking for as we are always considering new options for future model releases.
What material is the nut made of? And can I switch the Knobs for Gibson speed knobs?
Hi Keven, the nut is made of PPS molded plastic This is widely used on production guitars. It has good properties for tone and hardness. Yes you can switch knobs if you like on your own but we do not offer different knobs as an option.
Will this model be made with a Floyd Rose?
Hi Cristian, There is no plan to put a Floyd on this model, however we will make note of your request. Thanks for that suggestion.
Make this in vintage white with a black headstock (like the old esp eclipses) and I know at least one person who will buy it.

Hi Mario, We have built these in both Korea and Indonesia in the past. Currently we manufacture these in Indonesia. Hope that helps.
Is this model available with black h the hardware?

What’s up guys? Quick question for y’all... so I’m looking at this for my next guitar and was curious if a Bigsby could be mounted on it?
Hi David, Yes you could put a Bigsby on the guitar, however you will end up seeing the holes for the original tailpiece. I don't think that the Bigsby tailpiece will cover the original holes.
Hii.. When will this guitar be available on Sweetwater please? and is there any esp specific model with DiMarzio pickups?
Hi Firas, this model is currently available. Please ask Sweetwater for their availability. Unfortunately we cannot tell you what Sweetwater's current inventory is. Hi Jmerc, This is a specific model with it's own unique features. We have not made it with these exact specs in any other finishes. However, we offer many different EC-1000 models with various finishes and options.

Hi Victor, yes you still have a chance. This model is a current model, however it is popular so currently it is backordered for about a month or so.

Hi Victor, Yes this model is currently available. You can purchase through any of your local ESP dealers. That is always the best choice. If you cannot find a dealer to purchase it from then you can purchase it from us directly, however we do not ship outside the USA.
I have just purchased this guitar and it has been Love at first sight. The look is amazing, the Feel is Outstanding, and the Sound is Legendary. The Duncan pick ups are super heavy and Classics. I love everything about this guitar.

When will these be available again? No one has them in stock. I ordered mine through a licensed dealer a month ago and the backorder date keeps getting pushed. Current estimated delivery date is now mid September, 3 months after my purchase date.
