Kim Min-seon is sprinting in the second round of the women's 500m race at the 50th National Men's and Women's Sprint Speed ​​Skating Championships held at the Taereung International Skating Rink in Nowon-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 29th.

Kim Min-seon (Uijeongbu City Hall), the queen of ice, took third place in the first race of the women's 500m at the 2024 International Skating Union (ISU) World Sprint All-Round Speed ​​Skating Championships.

Kim Min-seon crossed the finish line with a record of 37.36 seconds in the first race of the women's 500m held at the Max Eicher Arena in Insel, Germany on the 8th (Korean time).

She is in third place, following first place Netherlands' Fecker Kok (37.07 seconds) and second place Japan's Miho Takagi (37.13 seconds).

Kim Min-seon finished the first 100m section in 10.41 seconds, the third fastest time overall, and increased her speed further, but was unable to beat the records of Kok and Takagi, who finished the race earlier.

Kim Min-seon ranked 18th in the first 1,000m race with a time of 1 minute 17.35 seconds.

Lee Na-hyun (Korea National Sport University), who also competed, took 14th place in the 500 m with a time of 38.32 seconds and 13th place in the 1,000 m with a time of 1 minute 16.71 seconds.

Minji Kim (Seoul General) ranked 16th in the 500m (38.52 seconds) and 19th in the 1,000m (1 minute 17.47 seconds).

In the first men's 500m race, Cho Sang-hyuk (Sports Toto Ice Skating Team) took 4th place (34.81 seconds), Kim Jun-ho (Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office) took 6th place (34.82 seconds), and Gu Gyeong-min (Pangok High School) set a personal best record. They were ranked 7th (34.89 seconds).

In the first race of the men's 1,000m, 10th place was Jo Sang-hyuk (1 minute 8.76 seconds), 14th place Gyeong-min Koo (1 minute 8.94 seconds), and 26th place Kim Jun-ho (1 minute 11.52 seconds).
