If I could suggest as well, if you plan to drop tune, especially going down to C, then don't do it on one set of strings.  Go up on the string weight.  I usually consider 1 step up for each step down.  The best way to do that is to have a second axe.  I would suggest it isn't about getting more than one guitar for the utility but don't limit your options when it comes to playing.

Very true! I always tell myself I don't need another guitar! But damn it's like an addiction! I just love it to much to stop getting them! \m/

Yes I agree 1 guitar isn't enough. I got 6 basses and planning on getting 2 more.

Way too many and yet never enough!

i think its best to have 24 guitars and practice each one at least an hour a day

One guitar is never enough. Another day may bring another mood and for each mood there might be a different guitar =)

Turnings and vibe sum it up. I have 7 guitars for different tunings or uses. Many have humbuckers, one has mini humbuckers, one has single coils, one acoustic, one 7 string. P90's coming. Can never have to many!

Gotta love guitars, i just love playing new guitars, no matter how good they are. Wish i could get even more :-)

i'd collect guitars if i had the money, i don't. so one guitar will have to suffice. but i'll make sure that one guitar is a quality one with the essential elements i look for in a guitar.
