pleas make more guitars with seymour duncan

David M.

We all have personal preference but I'd have to have them all infront of me before I made a solid decision.

I prefer seymour duncan because the tone is more dirty to play metal and with other kind of music sounds great for me. So I think that are pickups more versatiles

Lace pickups are king.

SD Invaders all the way!

I never knew EMGs were so popular with ESP fans.

My favorites are EMG 81s but I have to admit that I never had the chance to get my hands on a pair of Symour Duncans. Since I saw so many good reviews I definately will try them.

I'm more of a passive pickup guy. In my opinion Seymour Duncan had design amazing passive pickups, and I love em!

i have EMG but cant wait to change to passive... the EMGs are holding back my Eclipse's true sound, they do that to every guitar they are installed and most people dont realize that and they end up sounding generic like everyone else, no sound character at all. Yes, they cut... but they dont fill.

Lim H.

Quite agree with your staement. I prefer the sound of passive pu's. SD's Blackout are pretty awesome too!

Jouni T.

My personal favorite is EMG 81/81 combo, if it's nor EMG I'd go with SD's!

ALL HAIL EMG!!!!!!! love those Dual 81's!

Not surprised at all that EMG is in the lead. They're the pinnacle of metal pickups, not to mention an ESP favorite.
Well, personally I'll always love my Seymour Duncans. Passive pickups are a personal preference of mine.
That's a lot of p's.

same here! I prefer SD too! :)

I am all about my EMG's! Nothing cuts through Drop-B and gives me that attack i want out of my sound like active pickups. If not EMG, Bareknuckles are awesome as well but a bit pricey.

I personally am a fan of passive pickups, mostly because I like a very wide variety of tone for different kinds of music I play. I find that I achieve that more easily with my Seymour Duncan pickups than on my guitars outfitted with EMGs. If I wanted to consistently go for that "EMG Sound", it would be a different story.
