Aftershock and Knotfest

Ever want to be two places at once? Well, with two huge metal music fest going on over the same weekend, the staff here at ESP tried to clone ourselves so we could attend both Knotfest in San Bernardino, CA as well as the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA over the weekend of October 23/24, 2015. It turns out that neither cloning technology nor time travel were available, so we had to split up and check out each of these awesome events separately.
KNOTFEST

With five main stages and an additional campground stage, Knotfest has grown into a major event since its inception in 2012. This year’s show saw 12 different bands with ESP players at Knotfest, including crowd favorites like Corrosion of Conformity and Suicidal Tendencies. See below for a complete list of ESP players at Knottiest 2015, along with info on which guitars and basses they play.

AFTERSHOCK

As you can tell from looking at the lineup of bands, a number of ESP players made the trek from Southern California up to Sacramento overnight to perform at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival. Like Knotfest, Aftershock is now in its fourth year, and has grown bigger and badder each time it happens (it sold out with an attendance of over 45,000 people). There were seven bands with ESP players at the 2015 Aftershock Fest, which included headliners Breaking Benjamin with three ESP rockers, as well as Deftones and Helmet, which include two of ESP’s longest-term and most iconic artists. See below for a complete list of ESP players whose bands played Aftershock, with info on what guitars and basses they play.
