Slayer Fans Rejoice...
Introducing the SLAYER-2012 “South of Heaven”

ESP 330 ‘ACTIVE SERIES’ LTD GUITARS & BASSES

In July 1988, Slayer released their fourth studio album, South of Heaven. It was the bandʼs second album with producer Rick Rubin, and marked a serious point of musical growth and maturity for Slayer, highlighted by slower but still brutal songs like “Mandatory Suicide” and the title track.

Following last yearʼs successful release of the SLAYER-2011 “Reign in Blood” model, ESP is happy to bring you the second limited-edition Slayer guitar with the new SLAYER-2012. Commemorating South of Heaven as well as ESPʼs long-term partnership with Slayer members Jeff Hanneman and Tom Araya, the guitar features a graphic finish with artwork inspired by the album. All Slayer fans will instantly recognize the iconic art with its skull and pentagram theme.

The SLAYER-2012 guitar has bolt-on construction at 25.5" scale, a comfortable alder body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard with 24 XJ frets, and includes EMG active pickups and a TOM bridge with string thru body. Production of this model will be limited to this year only, and once itʼs gone, itʼs gone. For serious Slayer fans and collectors alike, the SLAYER-2012 represents an opportunity to get a great instrument while paying homage to one of metalʼs most influential bands.
