As one of the world’s most iconic guitar players in a band that long ago surpassed legendary status, Kirk Hammett was preparing for the “Monsters of Rock” tour in 1987, and needed a high-performance guitar that could also stand up to the rigors of the road. That’s how he first discovered ESP, and twenty-five years later, Kirk has gone on to have a hand in creating some of Metallica’s most memorable music, using his many ESP models in both recording studios and on stages worldwide.
