The most durable finish will be a spar urethane. It’s the finish used on bar counters and wood surfaces on boats. My preference is Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane, but Deft also makes one called Defthane. I’ve used the......MORE »

I’m no expert, but it’s my understanding that if it’s equipped with a Floyd Rose or other trem system, you will need a Trembucker. If it’s string-thru or has a stop bar, you will need a regular humbucker. ......MORE »
