Tremolo arm for Synclair

Updated

Hi, my first post here. Hello!

I have an older M II with the ESP Synclair vibrato, with of course no trem arm.  I know how hard these are to find, been looking, no luck. I want to keep this babe original, so not interested in installing an FR, etc.

QUERY:  has anyone found an aftermarket replacement arm--or any arm--that will fit it?  StewMac  has a threaded 6mm arm, and I was wondering if anyone has tried it:  Sorry, cannot post links yet.

I also have made an inquiry to fretsonthenet, waiting to hear back. I searched back posts but found nothing helpful.

Thanks!
Brash

Well, Dave does NOT make an arm for this particular Synclair trem. Dang.

If it is a non recessed bridge you can replace it with an original floyd,

I'd kind of like to stay original, but may have to switch...

Wondering if you ever found a replacement arm for your M II Sinclair bridge?

Im in the hunt for one for this beauty...

I have not.  Somewhere I recently saw an entire Sinclair trem with arm for $260, but too rich for my blood.  The only solution for an arm is to have one made by a machine shop.  Since that will be expensive, would need to make a batch and sell them, and I think they would sell -- lots of these units out there.

Bummer! Yup, they're being sold for top dollar; will keep looking. Thanks!
