SEYMOUR DUNCAN JB/59

Goodday Admins.

can i ask what is the complete specs. of your SD pickups release guitar specialiy the JB and 59 ?

Because i both EC-1000T CTM DMZ and i want to replace the pickups with SEYMOUR DUNCAN JB and 59 and i want to replicate the signature of both guitarist of BLESSTHEFALL which they used to replace the DMZ of their EC-1000T CTM with SD 59/JB.

and also

Can i ask what type of 59 MODEL is because i seen a lot models of 59 , and that was:

SH-1n (1 conductors)

SH-1n (4 conductors)

SH-1b (1 conductors)

SH-1b (4 conductors)

we already know that the JB is 4conductor

last is i provide this wiring diag. from SEYMOUR DUNCAN WEBSITE

https://docs.google.com/gview?embedded=true&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.seymourduncan.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F05%2F2H_3G_2V_1T.pdf

is that the right diag. for what ever else of these SH-1N/B 1C/4Conductors ?

Thank you and regards.

Pushead

If you're not doing a coil-split (tapping), it doesn't matter if the pickups are 2 or 4 conductor (there is no 1 conductor pickup, you need 2 - signal and ground/earth).  You can determine which setup your pickup is by looking in the cavity.  If the pickup lead has the red and white wires soldered together, it's 4; if not it's 2.

That SD wiring diagram is correct, and the easiest way to do a 2 volume 1 tone setup.

Hello RiDLEY09,

We typically place the '59 in the neck position, which would be the SH-1n, and the conductor configuration will be dependent on your desired control configuration. The wiring diagram you included is similar to our own and will allow you to achieve the same functionality for your control configuration. The information submitted by Pushead also encapsulates the idea for choosing between each pickup model. If you wish to obtain the comparable LTD wiring diagram feel free to contact our customer service to request a copy. (customerservice@espguitars.com

Hello Sirs.

if i use this SEYMOUR DUNCAN: 2 HUMBUCKERS 2 VOLUMES | 1 TONE 3 WAY TOGGLE in my LTD EC-1000T DMZ, it is also needed to change the pots also ???

or the stock pots of my Guitar are compatible with this PICK UPS ?

and also what are the number of conductors for 59 Sir i f i use the suggested link too.?

Thank you,

Pushead

Stock pots are fine.  You should just be able to remove and replace the two wires coming from each of the DiMarzio pickups and replace with the black (hot) and green/uncoated (ground) and be fine with the rest of the wiring.
