JH-600 Tribute

JH-600 Tribute

I recently purchased a new JH-600 Tribute guitar..

I was having trouble with the frets...

I took it to a tech at motor city guitar in Waterford, MI

He had to do some fret work on a brand new guitar...

Is this normal???

This is the first issue I have had from ESP after nearly 20 years of buying guitars from you guys..

ANy info help would be great!

* sad fan*

Just hate spending 120 on a brand new guitar to make it playable..

Thanks

Hey Stephen,

It isn't normal but in some instances, due to factors outside of ESP's control, fretwork may be needed on a newer guitar. Wood constantly shifts on guitars and is the main cause for the majority of maintenance. This is also more likely to effect playability if an instrument doesnt have proper maintenance performed routinely. This type of issue is typically covered by the Limited Lifetime Warranty provided by ESP, and in the future we would recommended contacting our warranty department prior to having the instrument repaired.
