    Hello, I want to make a query I have a guitar LTD mh 100qm with licensed floyd rose and I want to know if I can put a Schaller floyd rose or the original floyd rose in that guitar ? wich modification I have to do?

    Yes the Schaller or Original FR bridge can be retrofitted to your LTD Guitar however you will need to make a few changes:

    -modify the recess route at the back section to fit the new bridge (the FR Licensed bridge has an angled shape on side while the Original and Schaller are both square shapes).

    -replace the studs & inserts

    -replace the nut, springs and spring claw.

     

    We also recommend that you take your guitar to an experienced repair person to make sure that these replacements are installed correctly.

    Installing yourself if you are not experienced and qualified may result in poor performance of the new parts.
