Where might I be able to find a replacement neck for a 400 series bass?

    I've got a 400 series bass that was given to me years ago. I didn't really look into it and never really played it because the neck was pretty messed up. I'm looking to see if I can get a replacement neck for it. I'd like to keep it as original as possible. Anyone know where I might find one? and if that is sort of a crazy idea, can anyone tell me if a stew mac neck will fit it?
