ESP Frankensteining

Hello all at the ESP forums, I'm a newbie on here but have owned a handful of ESP guitars.

So basically I got bored and put the neck from my ESP st-2 onto the body of my KH-2, they're the same scale length and very close to the same measurements on the neck.

The first issue with this so far, is that I love it, it feels like it was made for that body, and it sounds amazing.

The only real issue I'm worried about is that the neck pocket is just so slightly bigger than the neck itself, does that pose any risk?  It's less than 1mm difference, but doesn't fully stick in place before bolting it down.

And as for the other guitar, I'm considering sanding down the neck from the KH-2 to fit the pocket of the st-2.  It's only 1mm difference at most, so I'm not toooo scared, but I'm a little scared truthfully.

Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated.
