    E-II Arrow 7 or E-II Horizon FR 7 for Melodeath

    Hi folks,

    Just wanted to get your opinion on which 7 string would be better to get the killer tones for melodic death metal. I am sure I will go for an Alder body, Ebony fretboard neck through guitar with the Floyd; so it leaves only Arrow 7 and Horizon FR 7 for me. Maybe I should have made the title EMG 57-7,66-7 vs 707's for melodic death metal. Anyways, just to give you a brief idea on the tones I like; I currently use EMG 89 and 89R's on my FRX and I love the tones. I used to have a 81-85 combination on my previous guitar and I loved it, too. 

    Please let me know what you guys think. There are not any enlightening videos on Youtube on the tones of these pick-ups, either; so any answer will be helpful to me and probably to many others.
