I just want an esp

Now you have to give a ball to get one

ChainOfThought

Eh.  I feel like the price-points stayed generally the same, they just separated the Standard series from the Original & renamed them.  So what used to be the more affordable standard series no longer says ESP on the headstock, but the quality will be the same.

If you just want a guitar that says ESP on it, get a used one.  If you wanted an ESP standard because of the quality of instrument/features/whatever you get for the price, buy the E-2 or whatever line it is that fits that niche now.

Used ESPs are just as good and great for the price.  That said, the E-IIs are just Standards..  Notice the II part as most all standards were in that fashion, Eclipse-II, M-II, etc.

In a sense, you'll get the same playing quality guitar, but it's got a different logo, who fucken cares.  In 5 years people will look at the E-II's like they did the Standards..
