maxon 808 in NS2 loop??
maxon 808 in NS2 loop??
I noticed that the guys from KSE use their maxon 808's in the loop of the Boss NS2, is their any reason for this?? How does it differ to running it directly in line??
I'll have to try it, obviously there must be a good reason for it. I own a Maxon OD9 do you think its worth getting the 808??
the maxon 808 is better than most pedals IMO. very clean(read as 'transparent') sounding if you want it to be.

I think it cuts back on noise better. Never tried it though. I used to run an 808 in front of my NS-2 because it would keep the gate open unless I muted all the strings. I think it would gate the signal comming in from the 808 and the original guitars signal. Probably just a tighter gate.
