    Depends on your amp. If you've got a dark natural tone, like a Fender Bassman for example, the nasally honk of a Tubescreamer is a great counter-balance. If you're using an old Marshall, however, that's bad news....the Marshall is already quite bright, it just needs "more", which the AC Booster is (apparently, haven't tried) quite good at.
