Hi
I’ve got a 2009 Eclipse I’m wanting to changing the pickup rings on, from black to cream.
I’ve bought two sets and the arch on the rings is no where near enough to match the arch on the guitar. I.e. they are much shallower
it’s the four knob model
ANY HELP PLEASE!?
Thanks for this, but it a bit involved for anything I’d trust myself to do.
Do you think this is the only way?
thanks
If you want it to match the curve of your top, yes. But I'm sure you can find a reputable tech/luthier in your area that will be able to do it for you.
But it's just a piece of sand paper and about 10 minutes to do yourself. You can do it!
Just for completion. I did just that. A great local luthier did this and the guitar looks terrific with the Ivory pickup rings vs the black ones originally installed. Thanks for your help at the time
