Question about the "fake" toggle switch on an LTD Iron Cross

    Hey all,

     

    I have a really dumb question but I recently bought an LTD Iron Cross. It needed some set up and TLC because it came form Guitar Center (Should have put it back and ordered a fresh one.) But be that as it may I wanted to swap out the flat black toggle washer on the "fake" switch to put the Gibson black and gold washer like James has on his actual guitar. For the life of me I can not get the black metal washer off. I don't want to force it too much because the black paint is starting to flake on it. Is it removable or is it fixed? An suggestions to loosen it up?

    Hi...i am a new user here. I was also facing the same issue. As per my knowledge it is fixed only, so don't try to remove it otherwise any other damage can happen to your Iron cross.
