    Hi guys, 

     

    I'm looking at trading some audio gear for a couple of guitars and this one was offered to me. Its trade value is pretty cheap (under $500 AUD) and all I know is that its a Chinese made guitar. Neck through. He said its almost identical to his LTD MH-1000 only the headstock says ESP. 

    Can anyone help me with some info on the guitar? Is it even a real ESP?

    Not a real ESP, not an LTD with a replaced logo.  From the photos, it's hard to tell if a previous owners put actual EMGs in it, or if they're the same garbage with the fake logos that the Chinese builder put in.

        Headstock shape, truss-rod cover, logo and price.  Plus the fact that the seller flat-out told you it was a Chinese made guitar.

        If there were better pictures, I could go into more detail.
