Hello!
Question; are there stock topnuts around for the EC series? I need one since a luthier messed mine up (filing too deep).
Do Tusq /graphtech make them?
that would be great.

thanks Pushead,
I don't have the original nut any more (the bad luthier also "lost it")
Indeed neet to find a really good one who can replicate the original. The original string spacing and postion are important for me.
Well, string spacing is determined by the width of the nut, so again any competent luthier will be able to make a nut and set correct string spacing without a problem.
I had a problem with a luthier and his string spacing but I will spare you the problem. He was a German masterbuilder but made the least spacing between the E and A and the rest the same.
I WILL have to find a good one.

There's no particular reason to get a "stock" nut. Find a competant luthier and have it made out of a better material than the stock one. I prefer bone, but I've had graphtech ones in the past which are also nice.
