I love the sinclair bridge and thats not a "floyd". There are really bad licensed ones out there like the ones dean uses on dimebag guitars and the trem on my m-ii works perfect and that just says made in germany by schaller and ESP on it. It looks exactly like a ofr and its even built by the same people but it doesn't say it. If it works and the finish wear doesn't affect you then use it. If it gives you a problem swap it

I think the main concern with these "budget" FR's is the materials used I do believe zinc is a big part of the mik FR-1000 series mainly in the saddles and nut i'd also be interested as to what materials were used in the sustain block but its probably not good quality brass like the gotoh/ofr.

If the knife edges are good thats a plus but I doubt they have the durabillity of the OFR or Ibanez EDGE.....

That's quite a shame the finish wore off so quick, good thing the horizon has lasted better....wonder where ESP actually get the Black nickel Floyds as schaller dont seem to make them or at least not for the public perhap gooth recoat them, or ESP do it in house...

Ibanez's cosmo finishes apparently wear down quite quickly but they will hold up longer if you wipe them down after use...
