hello, is it dangerous for the guitar headstock-neck to use the tremolo bar with a set of 10/46 strings in standard tuning? i regularly use them from many years on my KH2 but somethines i fear using the tremolo bar thinking to brake the headstock...

finally yesterday i received my 10/56 strings ;) while i was making the setup i noticed that with only 3 springs on the cavity i had to tighten the pivots too much, so i decided to add the 4th spring. then all proceded the best way ;)

i am on the drop C tuning now, so cool to play COB riffs now ;)

E standard, on 56 I wouldnt recommend it. You'd have to seriously sort the truss rod out. Your more than likely to either fuck the neck up or break the string will tuning it. most I'd recommend in E standard is 48.

52, fuck that lol, My fingers hurt bad enough with 48's, Infact i just started playing lead, the bending is seriously destroying my fingers.

you can fall into tendinits too with thick strings....

btw thick strings in my opinion are good only not to buzz in lower tunings...

otherwise i'll go for 10/46 max something thicker, not over.
