    i have the earnie ball regular slinky, when i got the strings on i tuned it to E standard but it sounds so godamn wrong! then i tuned it to Eb it sounds much better, is this not the strings i wanna use if i wanna tune to e standard if not, plz tell wich one it is. thank you all :)

    I use Dean Markeley strings of the same gauge (.10-.46) and there should be no problem in either tuning. What are you using to tune the instrument?

      try the extra slinky's (.008-.038) maybe that's what your lookin' after..
